Alfonso Perales Martinez

Alfonso Martinez, 84, of Plainview passed away August 2, 2020.

The family will gather with friends at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 3605 SW 3rd St. in Plainview at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020.

Alfonso was born to Alfredo and Concepcion Martinez in Ballinger, TX on January 23, 1936. Alfonso was gifted in the area of church music. He played the guitar and could sing which he did until the end praising his LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. He will be missed but his teaching and inspiration will continue to be passed down from generation to generation

He is preceded in death by his father Alfredo Sr. Martinez and mother Concepcion Martinez. His son Robert Martinez. Three brothers David Martinez, Calixtro Martinez, and Alfredo Jr. Martinez. Five sisters Delores Mandiola, Julia Cortez, Josefina Martinez,Genoveva Jimanez and Oralia Venzor
