Anna Louise (Dockery) Watkins

Anna Louise Watkins, age 69 of Amarillo, died November 12, 2022 in Amarillo.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.

Anna was born April 23, 1953 in Kermit, Texas to Alvin and Eva Lee Dokery.  The best way to describe Anna was she was a spitfire!  Anna was loving, especially to her nieces and nephews but she was passionate about almost everything and she had an opinion about everything as well.  She was a hardworking, self-motivated person who did what it took to survive.  In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles of all types.

Her true love in life was her husband Bert, who preceded her in death along with her parents and a sister, Barbara Lee Bradshaw.

She is survived by her brother Bill Dockery of Dallas; her nieces and nephews, Teressa Moerike, Ruby Thompson, Donnie Thompson, and Daniel Dockery; her great nieces and nephew, Kenny, Amber and Andrew Astle and her great-great niece, Madilyn Hackler.
