Anneta Janell Hollers

Anneta Janell Hollers, 79, of Amarillo passed away April 17, 2021.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Miracle Covenant Church, 800 S. Bryan St. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Lubbock. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, Amarillo.

Annetta was born on January 14, 1942 in Littlefield, Texas to Ernest and Maggie Goheen (Maggie Goodin). Janell was the last to survive her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Hogan of Katy; Tonya Priest Warren and husband, Jessy Warren of Amarillo; Grandchildren Alex DeHoyos, Danae DeHoyos, Celina DeHoyos, Michael Brewer, and Tiffany Brewer; and 5 great grandchildren.

Janell grew up in Anton where her parents and family farmed. Her family regularly participated in music worship and she learned to play the piano, harmonica, and accordian. Janell graduated as Valedictorian of her class from Anton High School. She attended her school reunions up until just a few years ago and kept in touch with many of her school friends dating back to elementary school. Most of her career was spent in various retail businesses and she retired after having spent 22 years managing parts and service for a well-known company.

Janell had a great sense of humor and made many friends throughout her life, old and new, who will miss her dearly.
