Barbara Floyd Hall

Barbara Floyd Hall, 58, of Amarillo passed from complications of Covid-19 on December 19, 2021.

The family will hold a graveside service on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2pm at Llano Cemetery. Everyone is encouraged to come celebrate the life and homegoing of their beloved mother and grandmother.

Barbara, or Bardy as she was known to her family and friends, was born on October 14, 1963 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jim and Mary Floyd. She was the youngest of the eight Floyd’s. She was no doubt the life of the everyday party. When her daughter would ask, “Bardy, Bardy, where’s the party?” she would always respond with a laugh and say, “girl, my party days been gone”! In reality, she was always the light of any room.

Bardy spent many years working for Burger King. Many joked how she was the Burger King Queen. Outside of work, she was dedicated to cherishing moments with her grandchildren as she constantly captured every moment. She would always say, “I just love them!” with a smile on her face. Bardy enjoyed any and all sporting events. As a grandmother, she was there cheering and hollering for her grandbabies. To anyone fortunate enough to call her friend knew her friendship came with a special, and often unique bond. She will be greatly missed and loved forever and a day.

Ms Barbara recently dedicated her life to the Lord and was a born again Christian. She was a member of Christian Lighthouse Church of Amarillo.

Bardy is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Mary, brothers Mark and Rick Floyd, sister Barbara Jean Floyd, and her much adored niece Tina Floyd. Those left to cherish her memory are her three beloved children Kenneth Wayne Anderson Jr, Joshua Nathaniel Anderson, and Tiffany Dwan Anderson all of Amarillo, brothers Jim Floyd and wife Rebecca of New Mexico and David Floyd and wife Irma of California, and sisters Esther Santillon of Arizona and Virginia Olivas of Texas. Bardy also leaves a cherished legacy of grandchildren Kennenth Anderson III, Ta’Sean Hill, Marquavien Hill, Jeremiah Riddick, Kiara Anderson, Olivia Saldana, Aaleigha Cortez, Jesslyn Anderson, Haziel Anderson, Zariah Anderson, Eliana Cortez, great grandson Ezekial all of Amarillo; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, step-children, and dearly close friends.
