Bernadine ‘Dede’ Martinez Saldaña, 54, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2016 at Angel Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Rev. Jose Gomez as celebrant. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Mrs. Saldana was born May 20, 1961 in Fowler, California to Daniel and Rachael Martinez. Bernadine married Roy Saldaña on June 21, 2014 in Amarillo. Bernadine was always the life of the party and the karaoke queen. She will be remembered for being a hard worker and always putting others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Angie Rocha.
Survivors include her husband, Roy of Amarillo; one daughter, Amanda Romero of Amarillo; one son, Gabriel Robles and wife Shavonne of Discovery Bay, California; three stepsons, Dakota, Joseph and Ricky Wilson, all of Amarillo; four sisters, Jackie Gibson and husband Gary of Lathrop, California, Michelle Marquez and husband Michael of Madera, California, Kim Martinez of Fowler, California and Angelita Martinez of Amarillo; and four grandchildren, Pantera, Marcus and Kira Robles, all of Discovery Bay, California, and Anthony Romero of Amarillo.
