Bill E. Snyder, age 84 of Amarillo died February 23, 2012 in Amarillo.
A Private memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 25th in the Chapel of Angels at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur. Family and friends officiated the service.
Mr. Snyder was born in Avard, Oklahoma to Alva and Eva Snyder on November 6, 1927. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He married Ina Riggs on June 26, 1947 in Kiowa, Kansas.
Mr. Snyder worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for forty one years, retiring in 1988.
He was preceded in death by a great grandson.
He is survived by his wife of over sixty four years; a daughter Dolores Evers of Canyon; two sons, Dennis F. Snyder and John E. Snyder both of Amarillo; four grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
