Blanca Lidia Valenzuela, 72, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018.
Graveside Inurnment services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Llano Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Blanca was born on November 18, 1945 to Delfino and Luz Leyja Valenzuela in Grand Falls, Texas. Blanca was a joy to all who knew her. She was always trying to create smiles with her joke telling. She loved gardening and tending to her flower beds. Blanca was a ‘homemom’ as her children would say. She had a deep love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Blanca’s love for Jesus was always on display as she cared for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Elias Valenzuela, Manuel Valenzuela, Ector Valenzuela, Epolito Valenzuela, and Ernesto Valenzuela; and two sisters, Elpidia Flores and Guadalupe Suarez.
Blanca is survived by three daughters, Cruzita Ramirez, Brenda Gonzales and Naomi Gonzales, all of Amarillo; three sons, Abram Gonzales Jr., Mark Gonzales, and Willie Gonzales, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Ester Cobos of Dumas, and Janie Ramos of Fresno, California; four brothers, Delfino Valenzuela Jr., Enrique Valenzuela, Robert Valenzuela, and Freddy Valenzuela, all of Amarillo; 22 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
