Bonnie Marshall Miller

Marshall "Papa" Miller, 77, of Amarillo, passed away surrounded by his family on July 12, 2024.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Washington Avenue Christian Church, 3800 S. Washington St., Amarillo, TX 79110.

 
Marshall was born November 22, 1946, to Victoria and Bonnie Miller. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1966. During high school, he worked with his dad at a gas station. After graduating, he worked as a security guard for Rochester Armored Car Company for many years before retiring.

In his free time he enjoyed working in the yard and watching Westerns. Mounds candy bars were his favorite!

Marshall was preceded in death by his mother, father, and two sisters, Judy and Helen.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 42 years, Martha Miller; three daughters, Kristina and husband Olen, Amy and husband Chris, and Ileah all of Amarillo; a son Charles and wife Kalee of Canyon; thirteen grandchildren, Kristy, Olen Jr., Kristopher, Krislen, Harley, Heaven, Albert, Tye, Zachary, Patricia, Raeden, Logan, and Madelyn; two great-grandchildren, two sisters Cathy and Sam, and many nieces and nephews.

Marshall would give you the shirt off his back, and he will be greatly missed.
