Carla Maye (Stapp) Millsap

Carla Maye Millsap, 57, of Amarillo TX passed away on March, 28th , 2022 at 12:01am.

A Celebration of life gathering will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, April 1, 2022. At the residence of Foster and Presley Millsap.

Carla was born in Oklahoma, City  to Carl Stapp and May Nitschke.
Stapp on March 17th, 1965. then she moved to Honduras while her father was in Doctors Abroad for three years before moving to Amarillo Texas, where she met her high school sweetheart Ricky Millsap where they danced their lives away.

Carla graduated from Carver High School in 1983.
After graduation she attended Amarillo College for her basics, while pursuing her modeling career. She then married Ricky Millsap, Of Amarillo TX in 1985.  Then they went on to have three wonderful children, two boys Foster in 1992, Austin in 1994 and, their only daughter Sophia in 2003 that they raised in her childhood home.

Carla loved to be outside. Always in the sun soaking it up and getting her tan on while always working in the garden. She loved cooking, listening to music, going dancing,  modeling, riding  horses, rescuing cats.

Carla was always the life of the party, she always a bubbly person, ready to take on whatever life was going throw at her. She was always there if anyone needed advice. She always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. She was a very blunt person and would tell you exactly what she felt or thought, but she was always a very loyal person. She showed her children the real value of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and May Stapp.

Survivors include her ex husband of 25 years, Ricky Millsap, Children, Foster Millsap and wife Presley of Amarillo TX, Austin Millsap and fiancé Trisha of Amarillo TX, Sophia Millsap of Amarillo TX ; Brothers Randolph Andrews, Ron Andrews; two grandchildren Colt Millsap, and Harper Rae Millsap; Six nieces; Six nephews.
