Cassandra Raylyn Garza

The viewing will be Saturday July 23rd after 1:00 p.m. A rosary will be held on Monday July 26, 2010 at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday July 27, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 10:00 a.m. Father Gomez will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Llano East Cemetery, Amarillo, TX. Family will receive guests at 316 Hickory in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur .Cassandra Raylyn Garza was born to parents Orlando Garza and Christine Uballe on August 6, 1995. She was a proud mother of son “Manny” who was the apple of her eye. Cassandra was a student of Horace Mann middle school and would have been a freshman this year. She was adored and loved by teachers, students and friends at her school. She was known for always smiling, laughing, singing and especially dancing. Cassandra enjoyed listening to her Tejano and Rap music and living life to the fullest. She is a beautiful young lady and will be missed by many.She is preceded in death by uncles, Frank Velasquez, and Paul Velasquez; great grandparents, Mary and Paul Velasquez.She is survived by her son Manuel “Manny” Juaquin of Amarillo; parents Orlando Garza of Amarillo and Christine Uballe of Texico; brother Orlando Garza Jr.; sister Roxanne Garza; step mother Yvette Garza; uncles Carlos Garza, Alejandro Garza, Rolando Garza, Robert Uballe; special aunt Josephine Guajardo; aunts, Licha Garza, Mary De LaCerda, Racheal Uballe; one stepbrother; three stepsisters; special cousin Abraham Garza & Andrew Lee Garza; grandparents, Betty Garza of Amarillo, Robert and Patsy Uballe of Lorenzo, Texas; many loved cousins. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Cassandra Garza Fund at any Amarillo National Bank.
