Charlie M. Anderson, Sr., was the last surviving member of his family. He was born shortly after the great depression and raised in rural West Texas. He settled in Amarillo in the 1960's. He was a Golden Glove Boxer in the 1940's and a fighter to the end. Charlie was an entrepreneur, starting his own business; Anderson Auto Cores.
He is survived by his children, Dana Anderson-Jennings, Jeanne Anderson-Zingsheim, and Charlie M. Anderson, Jr, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
His fighting spirit will live on thru his children.
