Funeral services will be held on, June 24, 2024, at 11 am in the funeral home's Chapel of Angels. Following the service, Connie will be laid to rest in Llano Cemetery East.
Connie had a heart filled with compassion as she devoted her time working in Nursing Facilities and sharing her love through her culinary skills. Her dedication was evident during her tenure as the head cook at Vibra Rehab for five years before she retired. Amongst her greatest joys were spending precious moments with her grandkids and great grandkids whom she adored dearly.
A true matriarch of her family, Connie's love knew no bounds. Her presence brought warmth and joy to those around her; her laughter and kindness were infectious. Family gatherings were made special by her love for playing cards and dominos with loved ones. She raised three daughters with unwavering care and ensured they had all they needed.
In addition to caring for her own children, Connie selflessly looked after her mother until her passing four years ago. Not only did she provide a loving home for her daughters but also extended that love to raise her great grandson Jaquan, whom she cherished deeply.
Connie's faith was an integral part of her life as she was baptized at a young age; it guided her actions and reflected in the love she shared with others.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents Beulah Turner and James Jordan, a brother Richard Ewing; two daughters Jackie Moore and Deborah Sanders; and one granddaughter Tagan Drone. Those who will continue to share stories of Connie include her two daughters Tonia and her husband Edwin Bradley; and Chalanda Sanders, her brother Lawyer Ewings, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren.
Connie Rae Sanders will be remembered not only for the delicious meals she prepared or the games played with loved ones but for the unconditional love that overflowed from her heart. Her legacy of love and selflessness will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Rest in peace, dear Connie - your memory will live on eternally in our hearts.
