Visitation will be from 9 -10 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2012 at Angel Funeral Home.
Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Feb. 3, at Angel Funeral Home with Mike Nuthman officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Daniel was born on September 11, 1946 to Herman and Donna Bruce. Daniel was married to his best friend, Tonya Bruce, for 14 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a sentimental work horse. Daniel worked as a truck driver. He believed in the moral value of “earning your keep”.
He is preceded in death by his father Herman Oneal Bruce, and his best friend, his schnauzer, Samantha Lynne Bruce.
He is survived by his wife Tonya Bruce; his mom, Donna Smith; four daughters, Donna Michelle, Danna Shea Garcia, Teresa Jan Bruce, Carah Rochelle Cole; five sons, Robert Digman, Nathan Bruce, Cody Jones, Harland Ray, and “CJ” Justin Ray; sisters, Linda McClure, Sandra Northrup, and Judy Russell; 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79106, or Hospice Care of the Southwest 6600 Killgore Dr, Ste 110, Amarillo, TX 79106.
