Danny Lee Spruill SR

Danny Lee Spruill Sr, 68, of Amarillo passed on September 26, 2022.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at a later date.

Danny was born on May 17, 1954 in Amarillo, Texas to Billy and Daisy (Hall) Spruill. On August 22, 1974, he exchanged vows with his beloved Diane Spruill and together they started their family. The couple remained devoted to one another until Diane’s passing.

Danny was a truck driver for many years. He hauled everything from sand and gravel to cattle. He was known by many as Amarillo Casper which was his CB Handle. He loved to fish, especially with his son Danny Jr. Sunday’s were his time with his daughter Heather whom he loved to have breakfast with; and spending the day with his dad. Danny will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. He will forever be in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the reunion he is having with all of his loved ones in Heaven.

Danny is preceded in death by his beloved Diane, mother Daisy, brother Tommy, and his grandparents. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter Heather Sexton and husband Tony, son Danny Spruill Jr, father Billy Spruill, sisters Virginia Beard, Barbara Ferguson and husband Larry, and brother Billy Spruill and wife Delores; as well as many loving extended family and dear friends.
