David Allen Trimble

David Allen Trimble was born on July 31, 1951, in Shamrock Texas to David Lee Trimble and Jimmie Ernestine Trimble at 9:00 am and passed away at 1:00 pm on July 28, 2022, at the age of 70.

Graveside Services will be in the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock Texas on Friday August 12, 2022 at noon with Dale Moreland presiding.

He graduated from Caprock High School in Amarillo, TX during the midterm of 1971 and was a graduate of Texas State Technical Institute in 1975 with a certificate in Welding and Fabrication.  He married Hellen Blundell on March 17, 1978, in Amarillo who preceded him in death on February 2, 2018.  He was raised in Shamrock and Amarillo.

David Allen was a past member of the Fairview Baptist Church, and he accepted Christ at the Industrial Baptist Church.  He was a current member of the Church at Quail Creek, where he had been a member of the RA class and choir until health prevented him from attending.

David worked for several Janitorial Service companies in Amarillo as a Commercial Building Floor Cleaning Technician and Supervisor.  He was employed by Sears for over 16 years as an Assistant Building Maintenance Worker and for the Amarillo Public Schools as Head Custodian and making deliveries.

David Allen liked all kinds of music and enjoyed collecting records and CDs from the 1950s to the 1980s.  He also enjoyed genealogy, researching the Trimble family history back for three generations.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, mother Jimmie Ernestine and Father David Lee, and his sister Francis Burchfield.

He is survived by aunts and uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and fiends, past and present.
