Donna Mae Kish, 82, of Amarillo, passed on July 13, 2024.
A memorial service will be held on July 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at The Kingdome Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5141 Canyon Dr., Amarillo, TX 79110.
She was born September 20, 1941, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Donald Robert Schunot and Mildred Lois Collins before finding her way to Amarillo, Texas. She met her sweetheart, Charles David Kish, in October 1959, shortly after they married on April 8, 1960. Donna was a very devoted wife and mother, very empathetic and warm-hearted, and she loved to see the positive results of her teaching efforts of the Bible. She was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on June 28, 1969. She loved reading her Bible; she highlighted many meaningful scriptures that comforted herself and those she shared them with. When friends stopped by to encourage her, they would leave feeling encouraged; that is just who she was.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, younger sister Deborah, and son David Brian Kish.
She will be remembered by her husband, daughter Nanette Marie Kish-Dean and husband Mark Dean; son James Robert Kish and wife Sandra Trevizo-Kish; sister Deana; grandchildren Jacob Andrew, Sherry Rebeca Dean, and Tiffany Michelle Kish.
