Duane Laudie Hibl

Duane Laudie Hibl, 67, of Amarillo died November 10, 2021.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur. Memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1210 SE 11th. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Duane was born March 24, 1954 in Dickinson, ND to Laudie and Ethel Hibl. He graduated from Dickinson High School and went to beauty/barber school in Denver, CO. After obtaining his license, he owned and operated his own shop in Fargo, ND. He married Nina Espinosa on May 21, 1987 and together, they enjoyed 38 wonderful years. Duane was also a truck driver instructor for 42 years. He enjoyed all sports, especially football and Nascar. He loved to sit outside in the fresh air with his Doberman, Molly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Laudie and Ethel Hibl; and his mother-in-law, Julia Espinosa.

Duane is survived by his wife, Nina Hibl; daughter, Kimberly Ester and husband, Brandon of Amarillo, TX; son, Shoghi Sanchez Hibl of Joplin, MO; and 4 grandchildren, Jameson, Cohen, Sophia and Emmalyn.
