Earlene (Peterson) Petrosky

Earlene Peterson Petrosky 84, of Amarillo went home on January 26, 2022 to be with the Lord.

A life celebration will be held at a later date.

Earlene was born in Lubbock, TX November 15, 1937 to Earl and Medalene Peterson.  She went to school in Lazbuddie TX and went to Nursing School in Plainview TX.   She retired from Nursing in 1990 in Florida so that she could travel with her husband.

She married Walter Petrosky in Las Vegas in 1989.  They traveled around and then they both retired in Florida and played golf and entertained friends.

Earlene left 3 daughters and 1 son, Janet Griffin from Childress and Jane Durham and husband Grady from Belton, Naoma Koenig and husband Leo from Amarillo and Michael Vaughan and significant other Sloane Sall. 2 stepsons Paul Petrosky and Anthony Petrosky.  3 siblings Wayne Peterson and wife Sandy from Muleshoe, Patricia Maxwell from Canyon and Bruce Peterson and wife Karen from Conroe. 4 grandchildren Bobby Damron and wife Christie, Joseph Ramsay, Jeremy Vancleave and Sarah Griffin, numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Medalene Peterson, her husband Walter Petrosky and 2 grandsons Joshua Ramsay and Paul Vaughan.
