Eddie A. Gonce

Eddie A. Gonce, 55, of Hereford, died November 2, 2023, in Amarillo.

Eddie was born August 12, 1968, in Memphis, Texas, to his parents, Eddie Earl and Lurena Crawford Gonce.  He served in the United States Army.  On February 22, 1994, he married Mendy Drerup in Hereford.

Eddie was a big goofball.  He was loving and silly and always tried to share his fun nature and joy with everyone around him.  He had a knack for parodies and could come up with some good ones.

He adored his family, especially his grandchildren, and even though they lived in another state, they kept in touch by phone and FaceTime.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Mendy; his mother, Lurena Gonce; his three daughters, Amanda Kelly of Tulsa, OK,  Jessica Wilson of Bristow, OK, and Amy Gonce also of Oklahoma; his son, Jason Gonce of Bristow, OK; his brother, John Gonce of Hereford, TX; and two grandchildren, Clover and Willow.
