Edwin Fulton Hendrix

Edwin Fulton Hendrix, 82, of Dalhart died Monday January 27, 2020.

There will be a memorial gathering for friends and family at 1202 Rancho Circle, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, Amarillo.

Edwin was born April 13, 1937, in Dalhart, to Ewin and Oris Hendrix. He married Virginia Chandler on February 14, 1964. They were married 50 years and loved living life together. Edwin loved fishing and going on cruises with Virginia. He loved his family more than anything and always supported his grandchildren's activities. He was a huge Wolves fan and continued to
support them even after his grandkids graduated.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and his brother Gene.

Survivors include a son David Hendrix and wife Kathy of Cedar Falls, Iowa; a daughter Debbie Renshaw and husband Dwight of Dalhart; grandsons David Hendrix II and Riki of Ault, Co., Daniel Renshaw and Chapin of Borger, and Chandler Renshaw of Dalhart; granddaughters Brittney Hendrix of North Liberty, Iowa, and Savannah Renshaw of Dalhart; and two great-grandchildren Jayden and Owen of Ault.

The family suggest memorials be to the Twilight Fund P.O. Box 471, Dalhart, Texas 79022 or Coon Memorial Hospice Care.
