Elaine Trimble

Elaine Trimble, 64, of Amarillo, died Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at The Church at Quail Creek, 801 Tascosa Rd., Amarillo. Burial will follow in Shamrock Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.
Elaine was born May 14, 1953 in Jonesboro, LA to Cavitt and Betty Blundell. After her mother died, her stepfather Ed brought her to Pampa and eventually Amarillo. Elaine attended Amarillo High School and graduated in 1971.
On March 17, 1978, Elaine married David Trimble and they became members of The Church at Quail Creek. Together, they worked in the janitorial industry and both retired in 2016. Elaine and David enjoyed watching football together.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, George “Ed” Fleming; stepmother, Opal Boney; two sisters, one brother and her favorite pet, Troubles.
She is survived by her husband, David; sister, Carolyn Hightower of Louisiana; her brother, Johnnie Shrell and his wife Dee; and her aunt, Carolyn Culpepper.
