Erasmo Gutierrez-Villalobos

Erasmo Gutiérrez- Villalobos, de 61 años, residente de Amarillo, Texas, falleció pacíficamente el 6 de abril de 2025, rodeado de su amorosa familia. Nació el 12 de noviembre de 1963 en México, hijo de Teófilo Gutiérrez y Evangelina Villalobos.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Angel, ubicada en 2209 S. Arthur Street, Amarillo, el jueves 10 de abril de 2025, de 10:00 a. m. a 7:30 p. m.

La misa se celebrará el viernes 11 de abril de 2025 a las 2:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica de San Lorenzo, ubicada en 2300 North Spring, Amarillo, Texas. El celebrante será el reverendo Ryan Winger. Familiares y amigos se reunirán en el Cementerio Llano Este inmediatamente después de la misa. No habrá procesión formal; se ruega a todos que respeten las normas de tránsito.

Erasmo será recordado como un hermano, esposo, padre y abuelo increíble. Su familia lo era todo para él, y siempre estaba ahí para ellos y sus amigos cuando lo necesitaban. Erasmo tenía una forma extraordinaria de acoger y servir a los demás, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Sus emociones eran evidentes; cuando estaba feliz, se podía ver la alegría que irradiaba, y cuando estaba triste, se podían ver sus lágrimas y sentir su dolor.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermano, Ever Gutiérrez.

A Erasmo le sobreviven su amada esposa, Rita, con quien se casó el 30 de diciembre de 1988 en Amarillo; sus dos hijos, Azael Gutiérrez y Alex Gutierrez y su esposa Ana; sus cuatro hermanas, María Isela, Matilde, Concepción y Cendy; su hermano, Daniel Gutiérrez, y sus dos nietos, Giovanni Gutiérrez y Emelee Rodríguez Gutiérrez.

Erasmo Gutierrez-Villalobos, age 61, of Amarillo, Texas, peacefully departed this life on April 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 12, 1963, in Mexico to Teofilo Gutierrez and Evangelina Villalobos.

A viewing will be held at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur Street in Amarillo, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 7:30 PM.

The mass will be on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 North Spring, Amarillo, Texas. The celebrant will be Rev. Ryan Winger. Family and friends will meet at Llano Cemetery East, immediately following the mass. There will be no formal procession, we ask that everyone obey all traffic regulations.

Erasmo will be remembered as an incredible brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Family meant everything to him, and he was always there for them and his friends whenever they needed him. Erasmo had a remarkable way of welcoming and serving others, always ready to lend a hand. His emotions were evident; when he was happy, you could see the joy radiating from him, and when he was sad, you could see his tears and feel his heartache.

He is preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Ever Gutierrez.

Erasmo is survived by his loving wife, Rita, whom he married on December 30, 1988, in Amarillo; his two sons, Azael Gutierrez and Alex Gutierrez and his wife Ana; his four sisters, Maria Isela, Matilde, Concepcion, and Cendy; his brother, Daniel Gutierrez and two grandchildren, Giovanni Gutierrez and Emelee Rodriguez Gutierrez.
