Felina "Fay" Sandoval, 76, of Amarillo, passed on Tuesday, May 2, 2024.
Fay's life will be celebrated on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Seventh-Day Adventist Chruch, 405 S. Western St., in Amarillo, TX. A graveside inurnment will be held on June 15, 2024, at 11:00 am in Clayton, New Mexico.
Felina "Fay" Sandoval was born July 18th, 1947, in Roy, NM, to Arturo L. Sandoval and Fugelma Willie Sandoval. Fay had a humorous personality; she loved telling jokes and making people laugh. Fay loved to travel; she would get in her car with one of her best friends, Lucille, who were two peas in a pod. Fay had a real spontaneity for life. She also loved camping and fishing and would look forward to summer days at the lake. But most of all, she loved her family with all her heart and would do anything for them.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and "Willie" Trujillo, one sister, Mary Blan, and two brothers, Carlos Sandoval and Joey Sandoval, all of Clayton, NM.
Fay is survived by three children; one daughter, Charlene Ortiz of Greeley, CO, and two sons, George Sandoval of Greeley, CO, and Patrick "TJ" Ortiz of Arnett, OK; two sisters, Sally Sandoval of Clayton, NM, and Toni Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Latisha "Tish" Trujillo, George Sandoval, and T.J. Ortiz, and three great-grandchildren.
