Frances A. Salas

Frances A. Salas, 66, of Amarillo died February 14, 2022.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m.- 8:00p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Angel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at Angel Funeral Home.

Frances was born on February 24, 1955 in Amarillo, Texas to Frank and Clorinda Jimenez. She married her husband Joe Salas in 1996. Frances loved taking care of people as well as taking them into her home. She also fed the homeless. Frances worked for Villa Inn and Travelodge and Amarillo Globe News before becoming a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mom and grandmother.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Frances is survived by her loving husband Joe; two daughters, Akaymi Garcia and wife Catherine of Oklahoma City and Monica Jimenez of Amarillo; two sons, Willie Jimenez and wife Natasha of Amarillo and Anthony Salas and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Rosa Alvarez of Austin, Salina Martinez, Beatrice Jimenez and husband Larry and Becky Chavez and husband Johnny all of Amarillo; one brother, Johnny Jimenez and wife Ruth of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Dylon, Bethany, Willie, Khayli, Julien, Joseph and Dajzon and two great-grandchildren.
