Francisco Avila Jr.

Francisco “Kiko” Avila, 34, died Saturday, January 2, 2010.  A family visitation and timeof memories will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2010, at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, TX  79103.  BIOGRAPHY:  Francisco “Kiko” was born on June 28, 1975 to Panchio Gonzales Avila and Theresa Rodriguez Flores in Amarillo, TX.  He attended Caprock High School.  He worked in food services. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music and watching movies with his friends. He never met a person he couldn’t befriend. His heart was always open and he always made people laugh. He will be remembered for his goodness, kindness and caring heart. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Jimenez and grandfather, Fermin Avila.SURVIVORS:   include his mother, Theresa Rodriguez Flores of Amarillo, TX; his father, Panchio Gonzales Avila of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Gloria Mendoza Avila of Hereford, TX and Lorina Flores of Amarillo, TX; three brothers, Mario Avila of Hereford, TX, Joe Anthony Flores and wife, Mary Helen Flores of Amarillo, TX  and Robert Manule Flores of Amarillo, TX; his grandmother, Virginia Cortez of San Antonio, TX and his many nieces and nephews.
