Francisco “Frank” Q. Lara, 71, of Amarillo died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.

Francisco was born March 14, 1943, in Lubbock to Margarita Alvarez and Rufus Lara. He had a love of music and cherished time spent with family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Rosa Alvarez; and his brother, Arthur Alvarez.
Survivors include three children, Norma Frausto and husband Ricky Sr., Angie Padilla and husband Mario and Fransisco Lara and wife Tina; his siblings, Marcelino Lara, Deloris Soliz, Lydia Ruiz, Rufus Lara and Janie Valdez; his grandchildren, Ricky Frausto Jr., David Frausto, Rebecca Anderson, Monique Padilla, MohNay Padilla, Alexis Lara, Ariel Reyes, Annalyhia Lara, Ezra Lara and Saesha Lara; his great-grandchildren, Damian Frausto, Ethan Frausto, Teagan Frausto, Levi Anderson and Easton Frausto; his friend, Catherine Zuniga; and many nieces and nephews.
