Freddy Galan

Freddy Galan, age 56 of Amarillo died on February 26, 2023.

Public viewing will be Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home with burial at Llano Cemetery.

Freddy was born on December 20, 1966 in Morton, Texas to his parents Antonio Galan Jr. and Dominga Cumpian.  He attended high school in Friona and had been in Amarillo for the past five years. About the only thing Freddy loved more than the Dallas Cowboys was his family, he was devoted to both!  He was a very outgoing, cheerful and funny person.  He was very generous and willing to help anyone that was in need.  His smile will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Galan Jr. and his mother, Dominga Cumpian Fabela; two brothers, Manuel Galan and Danny Ray Galan; a sister Virginia Tenorio and by his step father Rosendo Fabela.

Freddy is survived by six sisters, Rosa Gonzales, Margarita Hernandez, Teresa Aguayo, Sandra Galan and Rachel Fabela; three brothers, Daniel Tena, Gilbert Galan and Mark Galan; and many nieces and nephews and friends.
