Georgeta Kitungano

Georgeta Kashindi Kitungano, age 62, of Amarillo, passed peacefully into the presence of God the Father on November 10, 2023, at UMC in Lubbock, Texas.

Prayer services will occur on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 1 p.m. at City Church of Amarillo, 205 S. Polk St. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East.

Mrs. Georgeta Kitungano was born in the Republic of Congo on January 1, 1961.  She became the wife of Mr. Ernest Katembo Lukoko Sango.  Together, they would grow their family to include ten children, six girls and six boys, and move the family to the U.S.A.

Mrs. Georgeta Kitungano was a Christian who believed in the Living God, the Creator of heaven and the earth.  One child and her husband, Ernest, greeted her at the Gates of Heaven.

In addition to nine children that survive her, thirty-two grandchildren, twelve grandsons and twenty granddaughters, and four great-grandchildren also survive her.

May the Lord God the Creator bless all the members of Georgeta’s family, relatives, and friends and continue to be part of comforting the entire family in this challenging situation we are passing through and all undertakings until we finalize the funeral of our beloved mother.

Furthermore, may the Lord God, our Creator of heaven and the earth, bless you all and fulfill all your desires as per the sacrifice you offered.  Amen.
