Grace was born on September 13, 1925 to Thomas Harvey Salmon and Katherine Hurline Knick-Salmon in Itasca, TX. She passed at The Craig Home in Amarillo, TX June 21, 2020.
Grace was a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed an administrative career with several large corporations. Grace enjoyed knitting; sewing and later in life was the owner of an antique furniture restoration business. She loved the Lord and made sure her children were at her side for worship. She loved to sing and was a member of a choral group invited to perform in Carnegie Hall. Grace was an accomplished artist and created gifts for family and friends.
She is survived by four children Gary Strange and wife Theresa of Honolulu, HI, Lynda Rose of Point, TX, David Cole of Menominee, MI and Daniel Cole of Grand Prairie, TX, 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchild, 8 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, countless friends and loved ones left behind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Dixie Salmon-Horn, Edna Salmon-Presley, Artie Salmon-McPherson and husband Garland, three brothers, Wallace Salmon, Travis Salmon and Watt Salmon and wife Barbara and son-in-law Rob Rose.
