Guadalupe Torres Gonzalez

Mr. Gonzalez was born December 12, 1923 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He moved to Crystal City, Texas where he met and married Delfina Contreras. Mr. Gonzalez worked as a farmer for most of his life. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Cursillista. He was a member of St. Laurence Cathedral. He is preceded in death by his wife and his daughter Maria Elena Lerma. He is survived by his daughters, Juana Hurtado and Eugenia Sanchez, both of Plainview and Veronica Sanchez of North Carolina; his sons Pablo Eliazar Gonzales, Juan Gonzalez and Juan Esteban Gonzalez, all of Plainview, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Andres Gonzales and Jose Sanchez, all of Amarillo and Jose Maria Gonzalez of New Mexico; his sister Concha Bueno of Leonades, Nuevo Leon, Mexico; 36 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren. Mr. Gonzalez will be available for viewing at Angel Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. He will be available for viewing at Sagrado Corazon in Plainview beginning at 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
