Guillermo “El Chamuco” Diaz, age 40 died August 30, 2015 in Amarillo
A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur. Funeral Mass will be said on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Rev. Jose Gomez as celebrant. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.
Guillermo was born on February 10, 1975 to Catarino and Lourdes Valencia Diaz in Juarez, Mexico. He was an easy going and happy man who loved being surrounded by his family. He enjoyed music, dancing and was an excellent cook. Many times he and the family could be found at the River enjoying outdoor time.
Guillermo had worked for Tyson for over 21 years
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Guillermo is survived by his wife Roxanne Diaz, two daughters Sophia Herrera, and Mercedes Diaz, three sons Anthony Soto, Cristian Diaz, and Sebastian Diaz, a granddaughter Aaliyah Herrera, a grandson Gabriel Javier Herra Jr., and a sister Angelica Diaz Ortiz all of Amarillo.
