Janice Kay Murphy

Janice Kay Murphy, 62, of Amarillo died December 16, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Janice was born January 3, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a homemaker. Janice enjoyed her life by giving every child a unique nickname, cheering on her Green Bay Packers, reading thousands of books, caring for animals, although her favorite was a Dolphin. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her soulmate, Willie Bradley; parents, John and Truby Melton; and father, Thomas Mills.

Janice is survived by 4 children, Donny and Lindi Murphy, and their children Blatney, Kiley and Abbygial, Shawn Murphy and his children, Dakota, Caitlin and Zander, Carrie Mara and Aarren Smith and their children Shaniah and Ashton, and Colby and Patricia Melton, and their children; sisters, Donna Benton-Ramos, Cheryl Mitchell and husband Greg, and Londa Schulte and husband David; 2 step-sisters, and a step-mom; 6 nieces and nephews ; 7 great-nieces and nephews, and many children that she claimed as family through her loving, generous heart.
