Jason M. Herrera, 35, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Angel Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1210 SE 11th Ave, with Rev. Jose Gomez as celebrant. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Jason was born on December 11, 1981 to Arturo and Rosalba Herrera in Amarillo. Jason was a quiet yet very caring person. He was smart and enjoyed tinkering with electronics. He loved to cook. He will be greatly missed by all.
Jason is survived by his parents, Arturo and Rosalba Herrera of Amarillo; two sisters, Marybel Herrera and husband Omar Jara, Iris Herrera and husband Christian Rodriguez; two brothers, Arturo Herrera Jr. and Alejandro Herrera; and one nephew, Omar Jara Jr., all of Amarillo.
