Jerica LeeAnn Ruff, 25, of Amarillo went to be with the LORD Thursday, November 15, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur with Pastor Jim Fox, officiating.
Jerica was born September 5, 1987 in Amarillo, Texas to Gregory Ruff and Jerrie Ann (Foster) Ruff-Valdez.
Jerica was a vivacious young lady. Despite the challenges of Cystic Fybrosis she brought laughter to everyone around her. She was a young lady with remarkable strength and courage. Her full of life attitude was hard to resist and everyone who knew her was inspired by her determination to make the most of every situation. There was nothing she would not do for her family and friends. She was generous with everything she had and loved just as strong and she lived.
Jerica loved animals as she brought many home who became loved pets. She enjoyed going to the Canadian River, riding her four-wheeler, and camping with her family. Some of her favorite things include big sun glasses, expressive body art, peace signs and most anything that was pink and neon green. Her hugs, kisses, and laughter will be forever remembered and missed.
She is preceded in death by her father Gregory Ruff and her MeMaw Patricia Foster.
Jerica is survived by her mother Jerrie Ann (Foster) Ruff-Valdez; dad Louis Valdez;
sister Michelle Ruff Reyna and husband Aaron; nephew Zackery Reyna, niece Madeline Reyna of Amarillo; Grandparents Clifford Ruff and Phyllis Kingery Ruff of Nebraska; PaPa Jerry Foster and Bertha Johnson Foster of Amarillo; Uncle Bobby and Aunt Jennifer Foster of Amarillo, Uncle Butch Foster of Wisconsin, and Uncle Brad Ruff of Nebraska; several cousins including Jessica Foster and Bobby Foster, Jr. of Amarillo, Casey Foster, Kyle Foster, Dylan Foster, Ryan Ruff, Brett Ruff and many others in Wisconsin and Indiana.
The family suggests memorials in memory of Jerica Ruff to the Cystic Fybrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814.
