Jesus "Jessie" Barrientez, age 51, of Amarillo died on Monday, March 5, 2012 surrounded by family. There are no services scheduled at this time.
Jesus was born in Hereford Texas to Enemencio and Consuelo Barrientez. He was employed as a supervisor for IBP for many years.
Jesus was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and especially loved cooking for them on the BBQ.
He is survived by one daughter, Amanda Noelle Barrientez and Kevin Harman; three sons, Jesus Barrientez, Jr. of Amarillo, James Barrientez and wife Melanie of San Antonio and Johnny Lee Barrientez of Amarillo; six sisters, Oralia Flores, Ester Hernandez, Rosa Rojas, Lupe Rodriguez, Cindy Aguirre and Christina Ybarra; three brothers, Juan Barrientez, Joe Barrientez and Daniel Barrientez and three grandchildren, Jesus Barrientez, III, Devin Michael Barrientez and Brian Martin Barrientez. His family will miss him greatly.
