Jimmy H. Thomas

Jimmy H. Thomas, 71, of Amarillo, died Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 25, 2018 at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.  Arrangements by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, TX 79103.

Jimmy s was born February 13, 1947 in Amarillo to Hollis and Louise Thomas.

He honorably served his country as a member of the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.  Jimmy married Cynthia Keeling on March 19, 1966.

Jimmy enjoyed playing practical jokes on family and friends, riding his Harley, and teasing his granddaughters, to whom he was particularly devoted.  He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cynthia; a daughter, Tonya Wright and husband Blair, a son, Brandon Thomas and wife Carole; 2 granddaughters, Presley Peters and Hayley Houck; Sister in law, Beverly Fuller and husband Jim, and a large extended family, who were very special to him.
