Joey Ismael Munoz

The world became a little dimmer on December 5, 2022 when Joey Ismael Munoz left his earthly home.

A funeral service will be held at MORE Church on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM with Kathie Donohoo officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.

Joey was born on December 11, 2004 in Amarillo to his parents Juan and Leah. He attended Tascosa High School.  Joey could be described as a caretaker.  He was very protective of his siblings and especially his mother.  He was a respectful young man that was eager to help out in any given situation.

Joey enjoyed playing Fortnite, watching FIFA and he had a love for shoes.  Joey was always cheerful and happiest when he was with his family.  He had a way of making everyone around him feel loved and important.

He was preceded in death by his uncle Chris Essary.

He is survived by his mother Leah Munoz; his father Juan Munoz and his wife Angela; his sisters, Marriah Munoz, Layla Munoz, Makayla Maxwell, Olivia and Sierra Ramirez; his brothers, Christopher Munoz, Calvin Munoz, Andres Chavez, Jordon Maxwell and Cruz Essary; his grandparents Melinda and Joey Essary; his aunts and uncles, Angela Essary, Karla Delisle and her husband Marty, Ace Essary and his wife Stephanie, Nathan Essary and his wife Emily, Michael Essary and his wife Jennifer; and many numerous loving cousins and friends.
