John Nava, 75, of Canyon passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
John was born January 27, 1945 in Welder, Texas to Pedro and Josephina Nava. In 1966, John married his wife Gloria and they had five children. John was a hardworking man and known for always having a smile on his face and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He never met a stranger and would make anyone who spoke with him feel welcomed. But of all the things John did in his life, he was most proud of being a father and a grandfather. John was the best father in the world and the world’s greatest grandpa. He’ll be remembered and missed for his teasing jokes and the many adventures he took with his grandchildren.
John is proceeded in death by his father, two brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Nava, his mother, his children Jennifer Nava of Canyon, Sandra Sandoval of Amarillo, Debbie Hernandez of Canyon, Mike Nava of Canyon, Chad Nava of Fort Worth, seven granddaughters, three great grandsons, three brothers, four sisters and his beloved dog Peanut.
