Johnny James Gray
August 28, 1932 — July 16, 2012
Johnny “John” Gray went to be with the Lord on Monday July 16, 2012 at the age of 79.
Celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday July 21, 2012 in The Lighthouse, 4020 SW 50Th Ave Amarillo, Texas with Pastor Jimmy Phillips officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, Texas.
He has left behind a full life, from serving his country in war time to the many loves of his life. Johnny was a kind man never with a negative thought towards anyone. He had four children and six grandchildren and loved them all and will always be loved by them.
He enjoyed watching westerns on TV and loved his Dallas Cowboys. His life was simple with not much fanfare and that’s the way he liked it. Give him a pot of coffee and a big pot of pinto beans with cornbread and he was a happy man.
So to the Husband, Friend, and Daddy we say we love you always.
Johnny is survived by his four children; Mark Gray, Jimmy Gray, Karen Walker, and Allen Gray; and his six grandchildren.
