Born in San Benito, TX to Manuel T. and Ramona M. Ramirez

Jose "Frank" lived in Illinois, California and Hereford for many years before finally settling in his home of Amarillo,Tx. He was an intelligent, honest, hard working man who enjoyed telling stories of his past experiences. He was always ready to give advice and discuss politics and history. He had many hobbies and loved music and dancing.

Jose married the love of his life, Rosario Ramirez on  July 9, 1987 in Hereford,TX.  He is survived by his wife Rosario Ramirez of Amarillo, TX. Four sons, Rene Ramirez and wife Gina  of Amarillo,  Louie Ramirez of Los Angeles, CA, Frankie Ramirez of San Antonio, TX and Juan Ramirez of Amarillo. One daughter, Veronica Ramirez and fiancé Juan Barrientez of Ladson, SC. He is also survived by five sisters. Maria Ramirez, Evelyn Ramirez, Irma and husband Robert Cervantez, Amalia and husband Alberto Ramirez, all of Hereford and Carmen and husband Valentin Sustaita Sr. of Amarillo. He was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Manuel and Ramona Ramirez. Three brothers, Louis Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez and Manuel Ramirez Jr. One sister Blanca Estella Ramirez and one granddaughter Ana "Nannie" Torres. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
