Joshua Brody Ethridge

Joshua Brody Ethridge, age 49, of Amarillo, left this world to unite with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 11, 2023, following a motorcycle accident.

Brody was born to Vernon and Janet Ethridge on October 23, 1973, in Amarillo, TX.

After living in Channing, TX, for some time, Brody graduated Who’s Who in America from Dumas High School in Dumas, TX.  Brody was a truck driver by trade and loved spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle when he wasn’t behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler.

Brody is survived by his only daughter, Stormy Shae Ethridge; his mother, Janet, and “bonus” dad, Chuck Goff; younger brother, Jesse Ethridge and wife, Dilia; youngest brother, Luke Ethridge, and wife, Lisa; and a grandson, Thomas.  Surviving nieces and nephews include Dylan, Ethan, Devin, Joseph, Jonas, McKenzie, Cheyenne, Jacob, and Jordan.  Also, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brody will be laid to rest in McClanahan Cemetery near Marlin, TX, beside his father, Vernon Loyd Ethridge, who preceded him in death.

Brody decided to be an organ donor and blessed at least three thankful recipients in need of life-saving organs.

A small memorial service officiated by Luke Ethridge and cousin Michael Killough was held with family and close friends on September 15, 2023.  Memorials will be received by Camp Agape Amarillo at campagapeamarillo.com.
