Kenneth Joseph Dinges, 73, of Amarillo, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on February 6, 2024.
A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held on February 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial Park East Mausoleum with Chris Condit presiding.
Kenneth was born August 1, 1950, in Hays City, Kansas, to his parents, Paul and Stella Dinges.
On January 9, 1976, he married the love of his life, Debra (Cates), in Pampa, Texas. He was a devoted husband for 48 wonderful years. Kenneth and Debbie had two beautiful daughters. He worked as a marine mechanic for 35 years in the Texas panhandle before he retired to spend time with his family and, most importantly, his puppies.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Stella Dinges ; father-in-law Dale Cates and mother-in-law Alice Hilbern; and sister, Constance Dinges- Karpman.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Debbie. His Two daughters, Patty Ybarra and husband Alfredo of Centerton , Arkansas, and Stephnie Dinges of Amarillo; 2 granddaughters, Annabelle and Lara Cate Ybarra of Centerton Arkansas, Brother Greg (Kristen) Dinges of Kimball, Nebraska; brother in laws Richard (Hilde) Cates of Wynne Arkansas and Carlton (Pam) Cates of Pampa Texas; and his fur babies are Kalee and Shadow, as well as his furgrands Simba, Little Bit, Lyla and Millie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Gracie’s Project to help save and care for all the puppies.
