Kenneth Oglesby

Kenneth Eldon Oglesby died April 11, 2010.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Kenneth was born February 26, 1950 in Seagraves, TX to Kenneth and Dorothy Taylor Oglesby. He attended Denver City High School and then went on to attend Amarillo College and West Texas University. He met and married his lovely wife, Debra on July 29, 2004. Kenneth was a friend to all and never met a stranger. His sweet presence will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Catherine McKay.Survivors include his wife, Debra Oglesby of Amarillo, TX; his two daughters, Kylie Oglesby of Amarillo, TX and Rebecca Smith and husband, Robert of Jacksonville, TX; his two sons, Jamie Ward and wife, Roxanne of Hinton, OK and Randy McKay and wife, Melissa of Sayre, OK; his two sisters, Drew Booth and husband, Tim of Amarillo, TX and Ramona Kennedy of Seattle, WA; his nephew, Chad Booth and wife, Lisa of Amarillo, TX; his niece, Chandra Short and husband, Todd of Amarillo, TX; his seven grandchildren, Dallas Smith, Deborah Smith, Hayden Ward, Hallie Ward, Austin McKay, Carson McKay and Bryson McKay; his aunt, Frances Oglesby of Amarillo and his stepfather, Bill Roberts. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15186, Austin, TX 78761.
