Lee “Andy” Ochoa, 55, of Amarillo passed away September 4, 2021.
Visitation will be at Angel Funeral Home on Wednesday September 8,2021 from 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday September 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Heritage. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home 2209 S. Arthur St.
Andy was born May, 31, 1966 in Amarillo, TX to Fernando and Olivia Ochoa. He was married to Cynthia “Cyndi” Ochoa. Andy was a truck driver for Reynolds Transport. Before becoming a truck driver, Andy worked for Llano Cemetery, working for Llano was a passion of his. “He was a very loveable Christian man, if you met him you would never forget him.” In 2011 Andy and his wife Cyndi started a non-profit organization called “What Would An Angel Do?” they did this until 2014. He was a man that wanted things the right way or no way at all. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jose Romero, Flora Romero, Maria Ochoa and Ramon Ochoa; parents, Fernando and Oliva Ochoa; brothers, Danny Ochoa, Ray Ochoa and Gregory Ochoa.
Andy is survived by his 3 daughters, K.C. Ochoa of San Antonio, Delilah Ochoa-Cox of Lubbock, and Andrea Ochoa of Lubbock; 1 son, Michael Ochoa of Lubbock; 4 sisters, Marilyn Perez, Stephanie Ochoa, Jossette Salas all of Amarillo and Ester Cantrell and husband, Scotty of Dallas; 4 brothers, Roy Ochoa, Freddie Ochoa and wife, Yolanda, Louie Ochoa and Jerry Ochoa all of Amarillo, TX; 5 grandchildren, Ezkiel, Kaylee, Michael, Jaimesyn and Cheyanne.
