Linda Kay Frost, 69, beloved wife and mother of 4 fur babies peacefully went to be with our Lord Jesus on August 4, 2021.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021 at Temple Baptist Church, 3300 S. Van Buren St. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.
Linda was born in Lubbock, TX on January 26, 1952 to Charlie A. and Lela Irene Fillpot. They traveled as a family and lived in various Texas Panhandle towns while growing up settling in Amarillo. She finally married Edwin (reluctantly because it took him a while to talk her into it) on October 16, 1982. Linda always loved to help and serve people especially during the time she worked for Family Support Services. She was the first smiling face people would see coming in and she always made a point to make everyone feel comfortable. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Irene and Charlie Fillpot; three brothers, Jim Shubert, Tom Shubert, and Charles D. (Butch) Fillpot; and two sisters, Elsie Long and Carol Cooley.
Linda is survived by her husband, Edwin; brothers, Bob Fillpot and Jim Fillpot; sisters, Nadine Bettis and Joann Williams; along with 21 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Family Support Services, 7136 I-40 West Frontage Road, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
