Linda Kay Spann

April 25, 1948 — September 10, 2021

Linda Kay Bell Spann went to be with our Lord on September 10th,2021 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born and raised in Odessa, TX on April 25th, 1948 and lived most her adult life in Amarillo, TX.

Linda was a well-known Life insurance agent for more than 25 years with American National Insurance where she provided the best service anyone could. Mumz, as she was affectionally known by all her family, was always kind and full of life. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the way only a mother and grandma could. She was the life of the gathering, and the fun never really started until she arrived. She was proud of her many progeny and was lavish in the exercise of her grandma “bragging rights”.  Some of her favorite things included visiting family, playing dominoes, coffee, Dallas Cowboys football, celebrating holidays of any kind, interior decorating and “Big, Beautiful Hamburgers and Sprite”.

Mumz enjoyed baking, and always had something sweet on hand to enhance her naturally sweet demeanor.  She was famous for her sought after Christmas tree decorating skills as well as gift wrapping, which was no surprise to it being her favorite holiday.

She was welcomed home by a long line of family angels and will be missed by an equally long line of survivors including: her daughter and son in-law Melinda and David Tripp of Amarillo, her daughter and son in-law Lori and Calvin Rhodes of Odessa, her son and daughter in-law Justin and Leslie Jass of Amarillo.

Her Grandchildren, Angela Huffine, Aaron Scott, Dillon Rhodes, Amanda Rhodes, and Blake Rhodes.

Her Great Grandchildren, Chandler Abadie, Natalie Abadie, Terry Scott, Aaron Scott Jr., Brylie Scott.

Mumz, we’ll see you again and all love you.

She be celebrated in life with a private family gathering.
