Linnie Sue Washman, 68, died January 23, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, at Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson with Pastor Gary Burd officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Linnie Sue was born March 4, 1943 in Wills Point, Texas, to Sam and Bessie Beavers. She married her sweetheart, James Washman, on July 11, 1975 in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
Linnie attended Draughon’s Business College and retired from Levi Strauss after 22 years.
She has been an active member of Christian Heritage Church for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Quintin Eugene Bagsby; a brother, Kenneth Earl Beavers; and a son-in-law, Rocky Lee Roberts.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Leitha Stoddard and husband, Bobby, and Debbie Roberts and Bill Melton all of Amarillo; sister, Peggy Freeman of Amarillo; brother, David Gene Beavers of Athens; one grandson, Shayne Boggs; many nieces and nephews; and her special family friends, Derek and Leticia Epperson and their children, Ame and Zane.
