Linny Faye Mills

Linny Faye Mills, 65, of Amarillo passed away November 26, 2019.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Greater Love Temple. Arrangements by Angel Funeral Home.

Linny was born July 5, 1954 in Clovis, NM to Mr. Joe and Mrs. Ora Lee Byrd. Faye worked at Tyson/IBP for over 30 years and it suited her servant spirit. She always said “In order to see a change, you had to be the change.” Linny touched so many lives there. She was a caring and compassionate person who would do anything for anyone. She treasured her family. Not just her natural family but all of the others she had. She embraced every moment with them. She was a mighty warrior of God and shared her love of praying with others. She was truly a woman of faith that touched so many. Having her in our lives, we have all been blessed but now the time has come for her to rest.

She is survived by her brother, Brooks Byrd of Clovis, NM; 2 sisters, Ora Lee Harris of Grand Prarie, TX and Dixie Byrd of Arlington, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends who loved her deeply.
