Lois Lorraine Richardson, 65, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Pentecostal Temple, 323 Oak Dr., Amarillo, Texas 79107.
Lois Lorraine Richardson was born on April 17, 1951, to the union of Earl K. Stallard, Sr., and Ruth Aleene Mayberry in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was a graduate of Albuquerque High School. Lois worked at Presbyterian Hospital until her move to Amarillo, TX in the 1980’s from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lois wore her heart on her sleeve, she loved giving to others and helping people no matter how they treated her. She was a beloved and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, community volunteer and friend who loved to entertain. She enjoyed taking care of dogs and cats just as much as she loved to help people.
Preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruth Stallard; Foster mother, Rose Mary Chester; two sisters, Carol Mayberry and Sandra Ward; and one brother, Tommy Chester.
She leaves to cherish her memories; daughter, Talya A. Goodman; son, Mctyre S.R. Barrow; two grandsons, John and Javar Goodman; one great grandchild, Tyler R. Horton; step mother, Catherine Stallard; sisters, MonTrosie Stallard and Denise Carr; brothers, Floyd Woodson, Garry Stallard, Bruce Stallard and Earl Stallard, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
