Marcos Dominguez

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Marcos Dominguez, who left us on April 13, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on March 7, 1962, to his parents, Juan Dominguez and Delia Montoya, in Clovis, New Mexico.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Marcos's life. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Angel Funeral Home, located at 2209 South Arthur. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Angel Funeral Home Chapel of Angels. Rev. Greg Corona of Hillside Christian Church will officiate.

Marcos was a proud truck driver who spent his life traversing the open roads, making countless memories along the way. He never met a stranger. He had a talent for storytelling and could keep others engaged for hours, sharing his adventures, past experiences, and even the occasional ghost story.

Some of his favorite pastimes included going to the drag races, watching movies, and spending time with family. Marcos also enjoyed listening to vintage music and oldies, especially Elvis.

He was preceded in death by his father and by a brother, Johnny Jr., and by his devoted canine companion, ChaCha.

Marcos is survived by his daughter, Azurie Rodriguez of Lubbock; his son, Bryan Rodriguez of Amarillo; his loving mother, Delia Rodriguez; a sister, Tina Tilton of Lubbock; a brother, Steve Montoya of Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews.

His warm spirit, infectious laughter, and kind heart will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
